What is astrology?

Astrology is the study of how distant cosmic objects, like stars and planets, influence our lives. When we’re born, it’s believed that the position of the sun, stars, moon and planets help shape our personality, giving us a kind of predetermined bio of who we might be as people; like a roadmap for our individual identities. To get a more accurate reading, astrologers check to see what position each planet was in at the time of your birth. The planets and signs combine with other elements, such as elements and modalities, to form a complex, and often pretty specific, profile of someone’s personality.
What is psychological astrology?

Swiss psychoanalyst Carl Jung was one of the first to recognize the enormous potential of using astrology to explore the depths of the human psyche. Throughout his life and his writings, Jung referenced his profound respect for astrology, asserting that astrology had a great deal to contribute to psychology; he even admitted to using it in his analytical work with clients. In cases of difficult psychological diagnosis, Jung would draw up a horoscope so he could get an entirely different angle on the subject. He referred to astrology as “the science of antiquity.”
What information do I need for a birth chart?

1) Name 2) Date of birth 3) Time of birth 4) Location of birth (as accurate as possible e.g. City, State, Country). Please note that not all locations are available on our program, so the closest major city will be used.
What if I don’t know the exact time of birth?

If you know the closest time, we’ll work with that. If you have absolutely no idea, unfortunately the product information might not be very accurate as the ascendant may be irrelevant in the particular birth chart as it moves quite quickly – around every couple of hours. To make it work we would need to do a 'time of birth correction' please contact us for further information.
What happens if I get the info for the birth chart wrong?

You have 24 hours from the time of placing an order to make any changes. After 24 hours, the printing process will have started and it will be too late to change anything.
Can I gift this to someone?

Yes you can! In fact our personalized Guide from the Stars parenting guide box is one of the most original gifts out there for children and parents. If you do not have the necessary information or the child hasn’t been born yet, our gift card is the solution for you. Once the gift recipient receives the gift card they can redeem it whenever they are ready.
How long does it take to receive the Guide?

If you buy the digital PDF downloadable version you will receive it within a couple of days. If you buy the Personalized Parenting Guide Box you will receive the PDF downloadable version within a couple of days and the bespoke box with the printed guide within 2 weeks (subject to shipping).
